Thursday, September 24, starting at 19:30, the Gastronomia Space at Vivapark Porto Belo hosts the 4th edition of Jazz Sessions. The evening celebrates western swing and folk: acoustic reinterpretations of American roots music classics, featuring the Santa Catarina duo Acústico Clazz.
For anyone still picturing Vivapark as a construction site, here's what's new: the neighborhood already has its own nightlife, and it's happening in the streets, right in the middle of the shops.
Who's playing
Acústico Clazz has been around since 2015 and features Fábio Franchini (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, synthesizer, and harmonica—founder of the band Os Chefes) and Jason Lima (vocals and percussion—one of the creators of Lemon Pie). The duo performed at Jazz Sessions in August and returns with fresh material.
The neighborhood as entertainment
The Gastronomia Space sits in Vivapark's commercial area, which today brings together restaurants, cafés, a gym, a school, and services. According to Visor Notícias, the park neighborhood draws about 130 thousand visits per month. Many are locals who come to Vivapark to eat, work out, or drop the kids at school—not just residents.
It's this flow that keeps the shops alive in a neighborhood still under construction. And it makes a real difference for people buying apartments: the corner café is already there before the building is finished.
